As we head into the holiday season and everyone is worried about how much money they are spending, it is important to make sure you get the best deals on all your gifts. The resources are there for people to save big, but not everyone knows how to tap into those resources. Rich DeMuro, host of ‘Rich on Tech’ on WOR Sunday nights, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about a couple of tips he has to protect your wallet.
“Amazon has added a price history link near most of the pricing on their website it will bring up a chart of the last 30 or 90 days of the price of that product,” DeMuro told host Larry Mendte. “They’ve also got this AI assistant called ‘Rufus’ … it will give you the price history, you can ask questions about the product, and you can even set it to auto-purchase the product at the price that you want.”
DeMuro also shared his favorite fun gift for kids to get them in the Christmas spirit: “This telephone, you connect it to Wi-Fi and it looks like a rotary phone and it’s from a company called Mr.Christmas.com and basically your child picks up the phone, and they are instantly connected to the big man himself, Santa Claus.”
