Senate Republicans held a hearing yesterday to investigate the mental fitness of Joe Biden during his term as President of the United States. Democrats have refused to participate in this hearing after they have been accused of knowingly lying about the former President’s mental fortitude while in office. Sean Spicer, Trump’s first press secretary, testified at the hearing and told Mendte in the Morning he believes Democrats need to be held to the same standard they set for him while he served Donald Trump.
“If you want to get mad at me because I screwed up the size of an event when describing it, ok great,” Spicer told host Larry Mendte. “But what is a bigger sin, that or covering up the cognitive and physical abilities of the leader of the free world to do their job.”
Spicer believes these Democrats have gotten off easy so far: “These senators, these members of the media, these members of his own cabinet lied to the American people about the fitness for office of the 46th President of the United States and they face no accountability.”
