Early voting has begun today for New Jersey’s primary race for Governor. It is a crowded race with nearly 10 candidates across both parties having a chance at winning their primaries but what are the issues that voters care about when making their choice at the ballot? Natalie Migliore, WOR Reporter, went out on the street to talk to voters about what concerns them most.
“I’m looking for people to be in touch with the taxpayers,” one person told Migliore. “I hope someone actually gives a sound plan on what they want to do; I want to see evidence,” another said to Migliore.
One voter just wants to see some change in leadership: “I want to see a Republican in this time. I’ve lived in Jersey for too many years, and I’m tired of the politics and the one-sidedness.”
