Hip-Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been in federal jail since September while he awaited trial. The disgraced rapper faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. WOR Reporter Natalie Migliore went out on the streets of NYC to find out what New Yorkers think the outcome of his trial will be.
“[He won’t] come out of it unscathed, but I think that he won’t see the justice that he deserves because he’s that big of a figure,” one person told Migliore. “That’s just the way it is, when you got money a lot of things go underneath the carpet…I think eventually at the end he will do time,” another person said to Migliore.
One resident couldn’t believe the news of Combs’ alleged crimes when she first heard about it: “It’s disgusting really when you think about it, that men would do something like that to women.”
