In an interview yesterday on "Mendte in the Morning," Rich DeMuro, the host of "Rich on Tech" Sunday evenings from 8-11pm on WOR, highlighted the unique appeal of Roku among streaming fans. Rick told host Larry Mendte, "Roku is the only streaming platform that people actually love." This enthusiasm, he explained, stems from Roku's user-friendly design and comprehensive content offerings.

DeMuro also discussed the new Roku streaming sticks, which are designed to be more power-efficient and user-friendly. "These new sticks are their smallest ever, so you can plug them in behind your TV,” DeMuro told Mendte. “They don't block any other HDMI ports.”

These improvements make the devices more convenient for users, especially those who travel frequently and want to bring their streaming devices along.

The interview then shifted to the topic of password sharing among streaming services. DeMuro explained that many companies are cracking down on this practice: "Netflix really went in and said, you know what, hey, if you want to add that extra person you got to pay eight bucks a month.” This change reflects the streaming industry's shift from growth to profitability, as companies seek to maximize their revenue from existing subscribers.
