The organization's mission is to provide financial assistance and a network of support to the families of fallen New York City police officers, firefighters, Port Authority police and EMS personnel. Assistant Treasurer Lauren Koslow will explain how the charity works and how people can help the families of those killed in the line of duty.
Just in 2023, Answer the Call distributed over $5.3 million and provided assistance to about 530 families.
