Dr. Gregory Poland of the Mayo Clinic stated that getting the booster shot is important to fight off the Omicron variant while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
"I've seen some of the data that if you only get two shots it does not protect you against the Omicron variant as well as if you were to get the booster as well," said Dr. Poland.
