Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning” that people who are not getting the vaccine against Covid-19 are thoughtless.
"It is irresponsible of people to go around and say I don't want to get vaccinated, [and] than actually spread it to other innocent people who may be old or vulnerable,” Webber said. “It's quite wrong."
The composer has been a proponent of coronavirus vaccinations and was himself a vaccine tester.
Webber, who is currently in rehearsals with the upcoming “Cinderella” musical in London’s West End, confirmed during his interview with Berman and Riedel that another one of his musicals, “Phantom of the Opera,” will be back on Broadway October 22 at the Majestic Theatre.
