Dr. Poland of the Mayo Clinic stated that coronavirus cases in the United States have been slashed by a quarter.
"We are in a very interesting position in the US right now. Cases are down almost 25%. People are getting the word about masking and social distancing," said Dr. Poland while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
A listener asked Dr. Poland if someone is taking chemo can they get the covid vaccine.
"Yes you can get the vaccine but the key thing is to talk to her doctor and try to time the receiving of the vaccine to when the person is least immunocompromised from the chemo," said Dr. Poland.
