Scientists believe they have found the smallest known reptile.
Lead herpetologist Frank Glaw told CNN they found two lizards nicknamed the "nano-chameleon" in the rain forests of Madagascar in 2012. In research published this week in the journal Scientific Reports, the adult male "nano-chameleon" was found to measure just over two centimeters long.
That means it’s the size of a sunflower seed or he could easily sit on the tip of a finger. The female reptile is slightly larger at two-point-89 centimeters long.
