Political Commentator Chris Matthews said that even after he is out of office Trump will still have a lot of power within the Republican Party even when he is no longer in office.
"Donald Trump was more of a leader within the Republican Party than Ronald Reagan was and him being impeached will make his people angrier which means he will be powerful going into primaries next year. He can go into the primaries and raise hell because he will always be the biggest fish in the pond," said Matthews while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
Len asked Chris if he believes that Trump incited the riot at the Capitol.
"It was an emotion that was unleashed at the Capitol and the President was the leader in that because they believed he was behind them," said Matthews.
