Dr. Oz stated on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show that the second dose of the covid vaccine can and should be delayed.
"The first vaccine gives you most of the benefit that you are going to get from the two vaccine sequence. So why not delay the second vaccine, which is really creating major challenges to states because of how they store it," said Dr. Oz.
Michael asked Dr. Oz if you can mix and match the vaccine for the second shot.
"We don't know if you can mix the different vaccines. You probably can but I wouldn't do that you should probably stay within one group," said Dr. Oz.
