Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said that the Capitol police leadership failed in their duty to protect the building and its inhabitants during the riot earlier this week.
"There was a significant failure in Capitol police leadership but as more and more videos become available they did the best they could do," said Bratton while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
Len asked Commissioner Bratton his thoughts on the Mayor and Governor fighting over whether or not police officers should get the Covid-19 vaccine.
"It's a continuing frustration with the battling of these two, it's like kids fighting in school (of course) the police should be considered first responders," said Bratton.
