Nassau County Executive Laura Curran said on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show that she will do everything in her power to not lockdown Nassau County.
"I'll do everything to prevent (a shutdown) from happening I think we have proven that we can stay safe while having businesses open, yes we are seeing some increases in hospitalization but it's not spiking. It's not coming from gyms, restaurants, and bowling alleys it's really social gatherings at the home so why penalize businesses when it doesn't seem to mitigate the virus," said Curran.
Len asked Laura if they are having a snow day in her area.
"I know some districts on Long Island are going remote but I'm happy to say for my children we are having a good old fashion snow day," said Laura.
