General Secretary of the Salvation Army Major Kevin Stoops said that donations have taken a big hit this year because of Covid-19 while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
"We have already noticed within the first week of having collecting donation for the red kettle program that our donations are already down 50% and if you are a bell ringer in Rockefeller Center it's really lonely," said Major Stoops.
Len asked Major Stoops who the Salvation Army are specifically trying to help this year.
"This year there are many people who are hungry locally over the holiday season, toys are provided for children, and financial assistance for people who are on hard times because of covid," said Major Stoops.
