Defense Attorney Jeffrey Lichtman said that President Trump deserves to have his legal challenge to the election heard while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning'" show.
"Trump deserves his day in court as everybody does. This is what America is. The foundation of the republic isn't going to crumble because Trump is trying to litigate this situation," said Lichtman.
Len asked Jeffrey if it was possible that Trump can pardon himself before he leaves office.
"I don't know that he can protect himself from perhaps New York State from coming after him. What would he be pardoning himself for though because he hasn't been charged or convicted of anything although Ford didn't pardon Nixon and he wasn't charged with anything," said Lichtman.
