Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Is Chosen

This year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is a 75-foot-tall Norway Spruce from Oneonta in Upstate New York.

It gets cut down tomorrow for a three hour trip to New York City and local residents are proud. Officials will be issuing social distancing guidelines on how people will be able to view the tree in person.

In addition, there will be a scaled back tree lighting ceremony on December 4th. Details of the event will be revealed soon.

A Christmas tree has been lit and on display in Rockefeller Center every year since 1933.
