Leslie Odom Jr.: I Wouldn’t Count Out Returning To Hamilton

Tony award-winning actor Leslie Odom Jr. says that he would return to star in "Hamilton" to help bring people back to Broadway.

"I wouldn't count it out at all and if someone thought that it would help, absolutely,” said Odom during an interview with WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning.” “I love those people. It was such a wonderful time in my life so yeah of course."

Leslie also discussed the new movie he is starring in, "One Night In Miami," which is the backstory to the Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston fight. "There was no victory party planned that night because no one believed Ali could win so he spent the night in a hotel room with his close friends who happened to be Malcom X, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown,” said Odom. “It's the story about what those four men could have talked about.”

Leslie also discussed his upcoming holiday release, "The Christmas Album," out on November 6, with Len and Michael. Odom said that he “just tried to make something joyful and positive.”
