House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she isn't happy with the White House when it comes to coronavirus-related proposals. Pelosi sent a letter to her Democratic colleagues and ripped the Trump Administration for its position on things like testing and tracing.
Pelosi says the White House refuses to back a national plan on those topics and added that the administration got rid of ways that would tackle how the pandemic has affected minority communities. Despite that, Pelosi said she's hopeful a deal can be reached on a stimulus relief package before the election.
On that note, Pelosi says there isn't much time left to reach a stimulus deal before the election – and yesterday, during an appearance on ABC's “This Week,” Pelosi said there were 48 hours left to come together and agree on a package if leaders want to do something before the election. Pelosi says she's confident something can be done, but she added there must be an agreement on the language.
