The CDC has suddenly reversed its position on airborne transmission of COVID-19...and they’re saying it was a website error. The federal health agency posted new guidelines warning that indoor transmission of the virus is the key to protecting against its spread.
The guidance suddenly disappeared without explanation and since, officials say a draft document was posted accidentally.
The statement also said the virus can be transmitted over a distance larger than six feet. CDC officials now say, "That does not reflect our current state of knowledge."
