Dr. Gregory Poland of the Mayo Clinic told us that the best time to get the Flu Vaccine is mid-September!
"If your older, someone in their 70s and 80s my recommendation would be to not get the vaccine until about mid-September but the CDC recommends that you get the flu vaccine no later than the end of October," said Dr. Poland while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
Len asked Dr. Poland what the latest timeline is for the corona vaccine.
"For widespread immunization of the general public they probably won't be receiving the vaccine until mid-2021 and we won't finish immunizing until 2022 because it will likely take 2 doses 4 months apart," said Dr. Poland.
