New York State Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis said that New Yorkers made their choice for Mayor and now have to live with it.
"I certainty wish I could be there to help the situation but the people made their choice and now they have to live with it. I'm proud of the people of Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn. 67% of people voted for me for Mayor and so we are going to win this race (for Congress) and have a better platform to push back against the Mayor," said Malliotakis while on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show.
Michael then asked what she thought about how Mayor De Blasio is handling the reopening of indoor dining.
"It's a typical communist viewpoint, first of all taking away people's freedoms if they want to go dine they should be able to do that, dining is not an elitist activity, and what about the 200,000 people who are without jobs right now," said Assemblywoman Malliotakis.
