Vice President Mike Pence claims Americans "won't be safe in Joe Biden's America." Pence was in the spotlight during the third night of the Republican National Convention last night, speaking from Fort McHenry in Baltimore. Along the way, he officially accepted the Republican nomination for Vice President – and said Biden would "double down on the very policies that are leading to unsafe streets and violence in America's cities."
Pence also argued the Democratic presidential nominee would raise taxes and will set America on a path of "socialism and decline." He said Dems spent four days last week "attacking America" at their presidential nominating convention.
On that note, while Dems have assailed the administration’s coronavirus response, Pence praised it. He insisted the administration's response has been “aggressive” and “unprecedented.” Pence also maintains that the U.S. is on-track for a safe coronavirus vaccine by the end of this year.
