Westchester Exec. George Latimer: We Can't Succeed If The City Is Failing

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said that even though Westchester is doing great right now they can't fully succeed if New York City doesn't succeed.

"We wan't the city to succeed. Mike ya know we can't succeed if the City is failing. Wwe are in this together," said Latimer after Michael stated that what is bad for us in New York City turns out to be great for you in Westchester.

Noam Laden, who is in for Len Berman today, asked Latimer what he thinks about how New York State should handle the opening of schools.

"I think it would be better if they started online learning in the month of September to get a grip on how easy or difficult online learning can be. It would give schools a chance to get the rhythm down with sanitation and all of the other things that need to be done," said Latimer.
