Weatherman and "Today Show" anchor Al Roker said that through his career he has been fortunate to sit next to great people.
"I've been very fortunate to sit next to great people like Mr. Berman, like Chuck and Sue and you can go down the list. The reason I've down well is because I've been positioned well," said Roker on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show after Michael asked if he uses the philosophy of saying yes and seeing what happens.
Len then asked about his new book "You Look So Much Better in Person: True Stories of Absurdity and Success" and if he could tell us a story from it.
"I had a news director that paid to have me get contacts so the lights didn't reflect on my glasses and I would wear glasses with no lenses. All night long people where calling in asked why I was wearing glasses with no lenses and why was I blinking so much being that contacts back then where so thick," said Roker.
