Newsday Mets Beat-writer Tim Healey was on the "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show today to talk about who is in the lead to buy the Mets, will we get a full 60 game season, and how he would fix the team.
"The favorite (to buy the team) has to be Steve Cohen, the hedge fund multibillionaire and lifelong Mets fan. Between financial flexability and personal interest in owning the team nobody can match Steve Cohen in those two areas," said Healey after Michael asked him who he thought has the best chance to buy the team.
Len asked Tim if he believed that we will get a full 60 game season plus the playoffs.
"I'm kind of skeptical that this is gonna work (but) I hope it does. I'm not sure that people in baseball are even confident that this will fully work," said Healey.
