Trump Goes After NASCAR, Bubba Wallace

President Trump says the noose found in NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace's garage was a hoax – and is calling on Wallace to “apologize” to NASCAR officials for having jumped to the conclusion that the noose was racially motivated.

Along the way, Trump also claimed that NASCAR's ban on the Confederate flag has caused their ratings to drop. Thing is? NASCAR neither wants Wallace to apologize, nor do other drivers. The organization says they’re firmly in Wallace’s corner – and as NASCAR’s Tyler Reddick put it: 'We don't need an apology. We did what was right and we will do just fine without your support.'

As for those ratings, as NASCAR execs confirm, with hours after the ban on Confederate flags being put in place, ratings jumped – and they’ve stayed that way by about 104-percent. What Wallace HAS said? "Love should come naturally as people are TAUGHT to hate," Wallace tweeted yesterday. "Even when it's HATE from the POTUS .. Love wins."
