Kanye Tweets That He's Running For President...Now

Just when you think you’ve heard everything, Kanye West announces a 2020 presidential run. Not surprisingly, he took to Twitter — his favorite politician’s mode of communication — to announce his candidacy.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future,” ‘Ye said. “I am running for president of the United States,” adding the hashtag, #2020Vision.

While most people have greeted this announcement as further evidence of Mr. Kim Kardashian needing an update on his meds, at least three people have voiced their support. Tech giant Elon Musk immediately jumped on the bandwagon with, “You have my full support.” Although Mark Cuban has officially endorsed Joe Biden, he said that he’d vote for Kanye over Donald Trump. And his wife retweeted his announcement. Meanwhile, the candidate himself hasn’t elaborated on what he plans to do.
