Bill Bratton: I'm Fearful For This City's Future

Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton was on with WOR's "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" when he was asked his opinion about the police budget cuts that Mayor De Blasio is trying to make.

"You really need to read between the lines when it comes to these budget cuts and who is calling for them. I'm very fearful for the city's future and I've never seen a time quite like it," said Bratton.

Len went on to ask what he thought about the Mayor wanting to get rid of solitary confinement in the New York City prison system.

"I can understand the effort but as in all things, what are we going to replace it with and how effective is that going to be?" said Bratton.
