The owner of Title Boxing Club in Syosset, New York says gyms across New York have been crushed by Governor Andrew Cuomo's decision to keep them closed.
Reopening gyms is not part of phase four, and Cuomo hasn't offered any guidance on when they may be able to start up again.
"(I'm) very very frustrated about the lack of information as to the reasoning this decision has been made," Steven Stone told WOR's "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning."
Stone said his gym can reopen while keeping people safe, just as other businesses are doing.
"I invite Governor Cuomo, Laura Curran and Steve Bellone to do their daily press conference at my club or to at least have a sit down with me so I can make them understand and see small independently owned boutique fitness clubs can do the same thing for its clientele and staff," Stone said.
