Joe Biden Has 14 Point Lead In National Poll

A new national survey shows Joe Biden winning the general election in a landslide. The New York Times-Siena College poll asked registered voters who would be their pick for the White House if the election were held “today.”

  • 50% said they'd vote for the former vice president while 36% would re-elect President Trump.
  • Biden also has a comfortable advantage among Independents, with 47% to Trump’s 29%.
  • The only bright spot for Trump his 50% approval rating on economic issues.
  • Only 39% approve of his handling of criminal justice, 38% on the coronavirus, 33% on race relations and 29% on the nationwide protests.

Meanwhile, the former Vice President is adding more money to his campaign funds, thanks in part to his old boss. Biden teamed up with former President Barack Obama for a virtual fundraiser Tuesday night and raised over $11-million. It marks the most successful campaign fundraiser the former VP has had so far. During the event, Obama said of Biden that there's nobody he trusts more to heal the country than him.
