During his weekly guest appearance on WOR's "Len Berman and Michael Riedel In The Morning" show, Dr. Oz discussed getting around the city, coronavirus not going away yet, and more. Noam Laden, who was in for Michael Riedel, asked Dr. Oz if the subways are safe to get to work.
"I don't know about subways. I wish I could give you a clean bill of health...how you get to work is still a concern for New Yorkers," said Dr. Oz.
Len asked if Dr. Oz thinks schools will be open in the fall and if students should return to the classroom.
"We know it won't hurt the kids generally, but they might spread it. I do believe it should be voluntary. I'm hoping the teachers as well as parents of kids know that the teachers can teach from home. But for parents who feel comfortable with it, they can talk to their kids about going back into the classroom," said Dr. Oz.
