It’s been a long 2020 for one late night host.
Jimmy Kimmel has been doing side projects and hosting”Jimmy Kimmel Live!” throughout the coronavirus outbreak and well… he needs a break. So the host will be taking the rest of the summer off. Kimmel says nothing is wrong, he just needs a break.
While making the announcement, Matt Damon decided to crash. Damon, revealed...jokingly...that he’s been holed up in Jimmy’s guest bedroom.
Guest hosts will be taking over in his absence but the list has not yet been revealed. The guest-hosted shows will begin July 6th, but the host’s last live show was last night. Kimmel is slated to host the 2020 Emmy Awards in September and will be the host of the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" reboot.
