Not content with letting his tweets speak on the subject, President Trump had White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany drive his message home: he will not consider renaming military bases that are named after Confederate leaders from the Civil War.
She made that statement in a news briefing after Mr. Trump offered a series of tweets about not tampering with "Magnificent and Fabled Military Installations." Trump added, "Respect our military!" He also said the U.S. is the "Greatest Nation in the World."
