President Trump is suspending travel from Brazil as the coronavirus pandemic picks up in South America. The travel ban blocks all non-U.S. residents from entering the U.S. if they've been to Brazil within two weeks of their travel to the U.S.
The decision came as the coronavirus continues to worsen in South America's largest country. So far, more than 22-thousand people have died in Brazil and over 347-thousand people have been infected with the respiratory illness.
On a related note, a trial involving hydroxychloroquine is being suspended by the World Health Organization. As we told you before, Trump himself took the anti-malaria medication, but has since said he's finished taking it. “Finished, just finished,” he noted. “And by the way, I’m still here…To the best of my knowledge, here I am.”
