Fred Willard Passes Away At 86

For over 50 years, funnyman Fred Williard had remained relevant in Hollywood. But on Saturday, we lost him as he passed away at the age of 86. His family confirms he died of natural causes. "My father passed away very peacefully last night at the fantastic age of 86 years old," his daughter Hope Mulbarger tells "People" in a statement. He kept moving, working and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much!"

His films include some of the funniest comedies of all time - from “This Is Spinal Tap” to “Anchorman" and “Best in Show.” All is not lost, however, we'll still see him in the upcoming Netflix series, “Space Force” (it's already completed post-production). But it wasn't just the silver screen - Willard was a four-time Emmy nominated actor, earning three nods for his roles as Hank MacDougall on “Everybody Loves Raymond” from 2003-2005 and one for his portrayal of Frank Dunphy on “Modern Family” in 2010.
