Canadian Musicians Cover “Lean On Me” For COVID-19 Relief

Some of Canada’s biggest stars came together this weekend for the special, “Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble,” with several of them joining forces for an all-star single.

Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Geddy Lee, Bryan Adams, Michael Bublé, Sarah McLachlan, Buffy Saint-Marie and more collaborated, albeit virtually from their homes, for a star-studded rendition of Bill Withers’ classic “Lean On Me.” The song was made to raise money for the Canadian Red Cross and their COVID-19 initiatives.

Other famous Canadians who took part in the special included Drake, Céline Dion, Shania Twain, Ryan Reynolds, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, who helped celebrate first responders on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis.

The special raised money for Food Banks Canada as they help during the coronavirus crisis. Check out “Lean on Me” to the right.
