North Korean Media Reports Message From Kim Jong Un

Sure, he hasn’t been seen in public for more than two-weeks, but North Korea's state-run media is relaying a reported message from Kim Jong Un amid reports about his health.

There have been various reports ranging from the diminutive dictator relaxing at a seaside resort to his being “gravely ill” or perhaps even being a “vegetative state” following a surgical procedure. But now, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports he sent a message of appreciation to workers building a tourist zone.

So what’s the truth? No one really knows. In fact, watchers of the regime are said to be sharply divided about his status. Still, it’s not as though leadership would be languishing. Should the worst happen for Kim, it’s been made clear that his sister, Kim Yo Jong, is ready to step in.
