President Trump says the U.S. is “winning the war” against the deadly coronavirus. During a White House meeting with eight coronavirus patients who have recovered, Trump maintained that his administration has made the right moves.
He also insisted that the next step is getting the economy up-and-running again. He said he'll be making a big decision on that soon, "in conjunction with governors." A bit of a flip, considering he incorrectly claimed “total authority” over the country the day before.
Without giving details, Trump cited a "lot of progress" on a vaccine and a possible "cure” and said they give people hope about surviving the outbreak.
