Biden Floats Idea Of 'Virtual Convention'

Even though everyone’s hoping that the coronavirus will be a memory (or at least WELL-controlled) by the summer, democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is floating the idea of a virtual Democratic National Convention.

As we told you Friday, the DNC had been set for July, but is now set to take place in Milwaukee during the week of August 17th. Biden made the proposal on ABC's "This Week."

“The idea of holding the convention is going to be necessary,” Biden noted. “We may not be able to put 10, 20, 30,000 people in one place... let's see where it is. What we do between now and then is going to dictate a lot of that as well.”

The Republican National Convention is set to take place in Charlotte, North Carolina from August 24th through the 27th.
