WATCH: Man Drives His Car Into The River

A man identified only as Mr. Zhang had just passed his driver's license exam in China when not ten minutes later, he was texting and driving. He was reading text messages from friends congratulating him on passing his exam. That's when he crashed his car into an icy river looking at his cellphone instead of the road. Footage from the incident sees the man's car actually swerve in order to avoid two people walking on a bridge before crashing into the water. Thankfully, Zhang was able to escape his car before it sunk, but he did dislocate his shoulder in the incident. Police were able to pull the sunken car out of the water, while a crowd of people watched. The maximum punishment for using your phone when driving in China is two points off your license and a $30 fine.
