So a disturbing video has surfaced that shows a man attacking a painting of the Virgin Mary inside a cathedral after he reportedly blamed Mary for his addictions and homelessness.
The incident took place in the metropolitan Christian cathedral of Guadalajara, in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, and it shows a man named Jorge, throwing stones against the framed painting of the Virgin Mary. When he was confronted, he admitted to throwing stones at the painting because he's been asking for a few miracles over time and hasn't received any.
Church officials say there is some damage to the painting and that Jorge is being sought by the police.
