Officials: Five Killed In Wisconsin Workplace Shooting

The investigation into yesterday’s shooting at the MolsonCoors brewery in Milwaukee is continuing. Officials say five people were killed when another employee at the facility opened fire. The suspect – who has not been named, but is described as a 51-year-old male – reportedly died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police Chief Alfonso Morales said the scene has been secured and all remaining employees at the facility have been allowed to go home. So far, he has declined to confirm reports that the shooter had recently been fired. As for the victims, their names are also being withheld pending family notification.

MolsonCoors CEO Gavin Hattersley calls the incident an "unthinkable tragedy. “We are a family here at Molson Coors in Milwaukee and this is an unspeakable tragedy for us,” he offered at a press conference last night. “All across Milwaukee and Wisconsin, there are folks that are associated in some way with our employees at Molson Coors, and I'd ask you to stay close with them — and particularly the families of those who lost their lives today.”
