You just never know who you might be swiping right on these days.
Police in Maryland are warning residents that a pair of men are posing as single women on a dating app and are arranging meetings so they can rob the unsuspecting men. They say the victims are usually "physically assaulted" before the robbers take their wallets, car keys and cell phones. The robbers are armed and wear masks, police said.
They are asking that all single people refrain from meeting anyone on a dating app.
