The first patient diagnosed with coronavirus in the U.S. is heading home. Health officials in Washington State say the man has been released from a hospital in Everett, but will stay in isolation while recovering at home.
The unidentified man said in a statement that he appreciates everyone's concern and looks forward to returning to normal life. The man had been in the hospital for about two weeks after traveling to Wuhan, China where the illness broke out.
Where is the world count now? While the overall number of cases is growing – it’s nearing 21-thousand sickened – deaths have increased. But then, so have recoveries. While there are 427 deaths, nearly 700 people are listed as “recovered” – that’s up from about 500 yesterday.
