Exactly six years ago, I was picking up good buzz about “Moonshine,” a Broadway-bound musical based on the corn-pone television show that started in 1969 and ran for 26 seasons. “Moonshine” opened in Dallas to lukewarm reviews and nary a nah was heard from it again.
But it’s back on track after a revamp and a fun reading in New York last month that attracted the big three theater owners: Shubert, Nederlander and Jujamcyn."
