Harvey Weinstein Heads To Court

Harvey Weinstein is heading to criminal court today for his sexual misconduct. He’s accused of raping a woman in 2013 and forcibly performing oral sex on another woman in 2006. In advance of the trial, he answered several questions via email for CNN. For the record, we don’t know exactly what questions he was asked.

“The past two years have been grueling and have presented me with a great opportunity for self-reflection,” Weinstein wrote. “I realize now that I was consumed with my work, my company and my drive for success. This caused me to neglect my family, my relationships and to lash out at the people around me. I have been in rehab since October 2017, and have been involved in a 12-step program and meditation. I have learned to give up my need for control.”

The disgraced movie mogul – who’s been using a walker since an August car wreck – has been free on a $2-million bail bond. At this point, more than 80 women have accused him of sexual misconduct. While he’s only charged in two cases, other women – including Annabella Sciorra and Rose McGowan have also alleged rape.
