If you want a healthy heart, brushing your teeth may help.
A Korean Study, in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, was done over 10 years with thousands of participants and it found brushing your teeth three times a day may help hold off heart issues.
The habit is linked with a 12-percent lower risk of heart failure and 10-percent lower chance of developing atrial fibrillation. The team has no clue what the link between the two are, but they think the habit could reduce the numbers of bacteria living in the gaps between the teeth and gums, preventing them from getting into the bloodstream.
