“The View” got even more heated than usual yesterday when Donald Trump Jr appeared on the ABC talk show. The President’s eldest son and top surrogate was asked some tough questions about some of his and his father’s controversies by the co-hosts, and he responded by going on the offensive.
Props to Meghan McCain for approaching Trump Jr so calmly with her criticism, telling him his “family has hurt a lot of people.” But things quickly turned ugly as he was questioned about his decision to spread the alleged name of the Ukraine whistleblower, and Donald Trump’s attacks on a “Gold Star family.”
Trump Jr fired back at the panel by accusing Whoopi Goldberg of brushing off the rape charge against director Roman Polanski back in 2009, and took aim at Joy Behar for “wearing blackface” – back in 2016, she admitted to dressing up as a “beautiful African woman” at a Halloween party when she was in her late 20s.
