The National Toy Hall of Fame is announcing this years' inductees.
They are: Magic the Gathering, a collectible and digital card game; Matchbox miniature Toy cars; and the coloring book, which dates back to the 19th century. The three inductees were selected from twelve finalists that met the basic criteria.
What’s that? In order to be inducted, a Toy must be widely recognized, maintain longevity, and be seen as a catalyst for discovery and innovation. To date, 68 Toys have been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame.
